Neurodiversity
By recognizing and teaching to student strengths, we increase engagement and achievement. Neurodiversity is an emerging field recognizing the strengths in atypical neurological development. Below are resources I created or gather to share at the CUE Spring Conference 2018. You will find the PDF of the PearDeck presentation, a summary of online tools for strengths assessment, a chart aligning common strengths associated with identified disabilities, and finally, Jay McTighe's guide to creating authentic performance tasks; these can be aligned with student strengths and/or intelligences.
